What I Do

At StudioLB my goal is to aid in all stages of the design process for renovation, upfit, and new build projects. I listen carefully to the client’s needs and pay attention to details that ensure their space functions well and inspires those who occupy it. I particularly enjoy developing schematic plans, as I believe a solid beginning paves the way for a successful end project. However, I also gain fulfilment as a designer in nurturing your vision into a reality all the way through construction.

The majority of my projects are small to medium in size, in the sectors of healthcare, corporate office, and retail. Though, I am thankful to have a network of architectural and engineering consultants willing to joint-venture with StudioLB to complete comprehensive design services for any size or type of commercial project.

How I Work

I enjoy helping end users, contractors, architecture firms, and real estate agents with my design expertise. My mission is to serve my clients in their unique design needs, whether that is aiding a real estate agent with test fits in order to get a deal signed with a prospective tenant, or helping a local business owner navigate the design and construction process for the first time.

I typically work via an hourly or fixed fee basis depending on the project and scope. Each project is different, so please reach out if you’d like to discuss how I might be of service to you.

Who I Am

Originally from the beautiful East Tennessee, I have now been a South Carolinian for over 15 years. After attending Anderson University and earning a degree in Interior Design, I moved to the Midlands where I gained invaluable experience working several years at a residential design firm, then a commercial architecture firm in Columbia, SC. During that time I met and married my husband and we started to grow our family.

In 2021, we moved back to the upstate and I decided to venture out on my own and create StudioLB. Working for myself has been a great way for me to continue to use my skills to serve others and have flexibility to spend time with family and friends. When I’m not at my desk I enjoy getting outdoors, building Magna-Tile creations with my kids, exploring and serving my community, crocheting, and reading.
